There's no biblical evidence of bumper stickers either ha ha. But just because this sticker has come to mean something other than it may originally intended to be does that mean we should right of the original ideals? Take biblical Christianity, I for one still claim my faith but what others have done in the name of my faith has caused a similar confusion like the one about the bumper sticker. If by coexist we mean religious tolerance in the idea that we should allow people to practice their faith without fear of persecution by another faith then I am on board. If by coexist we mean it doesn't really matter what we believe then I am out.

Thanks man it feels good to be in Colorado (however as of late it has felt more like Tennessee with all of the rain and tornado warnings and such). I see those stickers not saying that they are all equally correct but that we need to stop killing each other over the beliefs. But you are correct in saying that we can't make the jump to saying they are all equally right belief systems. They are inherently contradictory, in core teachings, to one another so if all are correct then all are by the same token incorrect. Good points man.
I would love to meet up sometime my man. Hit me up through facebook

I think I would agree with you that the bumper stickers have come to mean much more than most likely intended. And yes the majority of people who put them on their cars tend to be less tolerant than just about anyone else. But where else have I heard of people giving something a bad name other than what was most likely intended *cough* Harold Camping *cough* I still claim my faith to be under the same name as others who have definitely used it to promote things other than what it may have been intended to be. I don't see the premise behind the stickers as negative but you are right about the connotation that comes with them.

No, He wouldn't. There's no biblical evidence that Jesus would have done so. Loving your enemies doesn't translate to devaluing your Christianity and embracing the rest of the world in a "whatever works for you" attitude when it comes to faith, which is what this sticker has come to mean. In fact, Jesus warns against that. There is a lot of evidence, biblical and cultural, that support this stance.
